A tree is a mixture of food, wood, and shadow. Trees are the important factors of life because you all know that trees are the only source of oxygen without which human life is not possible. There are unlimited types of trees but we'll discuss the National tree of Pakistan.

A National tree is a symbol of a country and it has more importance and significance than other trees. Every country has chosen its national tree to walk with the world. It is the worldwide symbol of a country that represents its forest land and a shady environment that is necessary for a happy life.

    • Many wildlife as well as humans are dependent on trees for food, wood, and many other resources.

    What kind of trees are in woods?

    • Red Maple is also known as soft maple mostly founded in US forests usually seen at 900m above sea level are widely used in woods for making wood products.
    • Black cherry is medium size fast-growing tree founded in forests. It is a long-life tree for 30 to 100 years and its fruit is eaten by birds and bears and seeds are dispersed. It is also one of the strongest wood-providing trees its wood is used in many areas of the world for making wood products.
    • White oak is founded in eastern and central North America. This tree is one of the preeminent hardwoods with 450 years of life period. This is also used for woods in America and its nearby countries.
    • Sugar maple is mostly found in Canada and from the species of flowering plants. It is also known as "sugar tree", "rock maple", or "hard maple" because of its hardness and some flexibility. It is also most popular for being a primary source of "maple syrup"
    • Hickory has almost 18 types of which 5 to 6 types are in India and China. 4 types are founded in Mexico and 3 to 4 are in Canada. Many of these types are used for woods in many areas.

    As I said above that there are thousands of types of trees by observing these qualities different countries have chosen their national trees and "Deodar" is the National tree of Pakistan like others. It is not only choosing the tree as a national there exist wide thoughts and plans. Some types of trees are under:


    • Palm treesare the national trees of Maldives because this tree mostly grows on the island so what could be the better place for this tree except for the Maldives. These are one of the very tall trees in the world and high up to 70 feet or above

    • Neem trees-are, not the national trees of any country it is also tall like the Palm tree and larger than that. It can high up to 98 feet. These trees are widely used in curing many diseases.

    Why trees are important?

    Trees are important for the natural balance of the world. Tree absorb about half and above of the air pollution which may cause a serious impact on health. Trees are the only source of food for thousands of animal species living in forests. They are also the major source of shade for not only humans also other animal species in different aspects of life. We are dependent on trees to fulfill 20 to 30 percent of our food requirements. Pakistan is also famous for its green areas, trees, valleys, and beautiful places so, there are many areas covered by trees. But the most popular is the National tree of Pakitan "Deodar".

    Can trees increase the beauty of a place?

    It is a fact that trees have the ability to make a better look at any place. Many types of trees are used in decorating parks, gardens, school gardens, and courtyards.
    Eastern Redbud, Cornus Mas, Serviceberry, Kousa Dogwood, Japanese Tree Lilac, Dwarf Korean Lilac, Ornamental pears, Japanese Maple, Star Magnolia are some of the examples of decorative trees that are usually used as decoration for many purposes all over the world.
    Trees are grown by the government along the road because it is the best place for planting trees acts as a wall between a two-way road.
